XI. CONCLUSIONS

224. The Working Party took note of the explanations and statements of Chinese Taipei concerning its foreign trade regime, as reflected in this Report. The Working Party took note of the commitments given by Chinese Taipei in relation to certain specific matters which are reproduced in paragraphs 12, 15, 19, 21, 22, 36, 37, 39, 40, 44, 45, 50, 55, 61, 66, 68, 69, 71, 72, 73, 78, 80, 82, 84, 86, 89, 97, 106, 113, 116, 117, 121, 126bis, 127, 135, 137, 140, 141, 147, 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, 155, 158, 160, 166, 167, 171, 174, 180, 181, 187, 198, 207, 208, 209, 211, 216, 217, 219 and 220 of this Report and noted that these commitments had been incorporated in the Draft Protocol of Accession

225. Having carried out the examination of the foreign trade regime of Chinese Taipei and in the light of the explanations, assurances and commitments given by the Chinese Taipei representatives, the Working Party reached the conclusion that Chinese Taipei be invited to accede to the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization on the terms set out in the draft Protocol of Accession reproduced in the Appendix to this Report, including the Annexes thereof.
