TANC Training Opportunities

All interns are eligible for training opportunities, as necessary and/or appropriate. Such training may include, but is not limited to, the following activities:

• General ITA Orientation and orientation meetings w/office staff on portfolios
  
  
• ITA’s CTS Case Management database and Case Investigation Guidelines
  
  
• Formal classes provided through Office of the Assistant Secretary such as classes on Trade Agreements Implementation, Writing, Presentations, Negotiations
  
  
• On-line training: International Trade and Investment Law: GATT/WTO and TBT/SPS
  
  
• Additional group training such as visits to NIST, port visits, etc., as appropriate
  
  
• (Optional) Attendance of pertinent Congressional hearings, trade seminars, meetings of Washington International Trade Association (WITA), other trade events
